What or who exactly is God Almighty? How do all the gods and goddesses fit in, and what do they have to do with spirituality?
The truth is that all Gods that we know of do exist. They are part of one family of Gods, and they have no conflict whatsoever amongst themselves. They were simply incarnated (born on this earth) at different points in time in different civilizations across the globe. They were born to pass on the message of spirituality and enlightenment in various forms and degrees of clarity to human beings. Our intellectual and maturity levels — our ability to understand spirituality and the highest truth in life (about God) — progressed slowly through the ages.
There is one Supreme God Almighty — the Father. He has a feminine power, the Divine Mother, which manifested in various forms of feminine Godesses (Mother Mary, Sita, Fatimah and in many other forms recognized by people in different civilizations). Their sons also exist as Gods (Christ, Ganesha and others).
Enough said about the deities. It can be safely assumed that the entire gamut of Gods do exist and are all related to each other. The even bigger truth is that these Gods and Goddesses are represented within our subtle energy system and in the energy centers of our being.
Perhaps all this sounds weird to you. After all, how does one prove the existence of these Gods and Goddesses? Just as one can verify the experience of spiritual enlightenment, one can obtain real proof of existence of all these Gods within one's energy centers with more effort, in advanced stages of spiritual enlightenment. It's very difficult to adequately describe how enlightenment feels, for it is best experienced, rather than read about. Written descriptions cannot do it justice. There are, indeed, aspects of life that transcend the purely mental or intellectual level of comprehension. These aspects surpass the mind's ability to understand through analysis.
